In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to eliminate ‘VVIP culture’ at various levels, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has asked his employees to remove the bell used to call attendants to offices. According to sources, the Railway Minister gave clear instructions that the bell should not be used to call the office attendant, rather they should be called personally.

To ensure that the directive is fully implemented, Vaishnav first removed the bell in his office. The minister’s office said that efforts have been made to give equal respect to every employee here and change the mindset of VVIP culture.

Along with this, the minister also wants that every employee should run 100 percent railway at full speed, which is possible only with zero percent VVIP culture.

Earlier also Vaishnav had taken such initiatives to change the work culture in his office and establish direct communication between officers and employees to instill loyalty and trust in each other’s work.

However, the ‘No Bells’ initiative launched by the Minister’s office has created a new era in which ‘call bells’ will not be heard in the Ministry of Railways.
